Kokomo is a hugely successful plant-based cafe with three Vancouver-based locations (and counting!) I am not only a fan because the founder is one of my best friends, the sunshine-inspired menu is also seriously delicious. With many customers asking to get the inside scoop on some of Kokomo’s best-selling dressings, dishes and condiments, the Kokomo team decided to package up the goodness to sell in their shops and other local grocers.
I worked with the founder to create a full suite of engaging and informational packaging copy that captured Kokomo’s signature tone of voice. With the tight space constraints of packaging, this was an exercise in choosing the least and most impactful words to convey the why and what of each of these products. Here’s a peek at the finished products and some of my favourite lines!
